Industrial aluminum profiles are alloy materials in which aluminum is the primary constituent. Aluminum ingots are heated and then extruded to produce aluminum products with various cross-sectional shapes; however, differing proportions of alloying elements result in industrial aluminum profiles with distinct mechanical properties and application areas. In general, the term “industrial aluminum profile” refers to all aluminum profiles used in applications other than architectural doors and windows, curtain walls, interior and exterior decoration, and structural components for buildings.
