Aluminum rods are alloy materials with aluminum as the primary constituent, manufactured into rod-shaped products through processes such as melting and casting, and hot extrusion. The melting and casting process includes steps like melting, purification, degassing, and slag removal. Based on differences in metallic element content, they can be classified into eight major categories; common grades include 6061, 3102, and 5050 aluminum alloy rods.
This product is widely used in rail transit, automotive lightweighting, architectural aluminum applications, and other fields, with key production equipment including continuous casting–rolling lines, hydrogen analyzers, and spectrometers. The manufacturing process requires precise control of parameters such as melt temperature and cooling intensity, and the core patents cover aluminum billet cutting machines and high-ratio recycled-aluminum preparation technologies. The recycled aluminum billet project has an annual capacity of up to 600,000 tonnes, with a value chain that spans primary electrolytic aluminum production and advanced aluminum processing. During production, it is essential to mitigate safety risks such as mold leakage and wire rope breakage.
